About Patricia Shanks

Hello singers! I am a voice teacher, vocal coach, classical and jazz singer, recording artist, voice actor, and stage actor, with experience as an NPR affiliate radio host, TV news host, Daily News columnist, and Emmy Award-winning writer. I bring all that knowledge and background to my teaching and coaching. And I want to share that knowledge and information with you!

I've taught privately and in public and private schools and in college and conservatory settings, including The Young Americans College of the Performing Arts and Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA). I'm also a vocal and musical director for musical theatre productions.

An active member of SAG-AFTRA and AGMA, in addition to coaching singers, I provide live audio description for the visually impaired for FOX Sports in Los Angeles.
